Paul Alan Freshney, based in Newark, Nottinghamshire, England.
I've been interested in photography for more than twenty years but never seemed to get the time to do any. My previous hobby of software development took up so much time that it was like having a second (unpaid) job!! A couple of years ago I made the hard decision to slowly scale back development until I had stopped completely. I reached that point in early 2012 and haven't looked back since.
In my free time I'm happy photographing most things but have a keen interest in nature, wildlife, aircraft, and motor vehicles of all kinds. Click on the gallery link above for a selection of my favourite images and those of recent events.
Favourite places nearby include Attenborough Nature Reserve, Whisby Nature Reserve, Hartsholme Park and the Newark Air Museum.
